2012-13 Omaha Basketball – Morning Round Up – 11/13/12

Articles About Omaha:

You can still read the recap of the Saint Mary game on my blog!  For the perspective trickling out of Leavenworth you can click here… Some talk of it being the biggest win in conference history… goodness.  You can also read my thoughts out of the first game at MidMajority where I penned an article titled “Growing Up” about Friday night’s game. I’ll be writing recaps there for all the games I attend this year and I’ll be sure to share them with you.

I will note that I received a tweet last night saying that Simmons expects to practice on Tuesday and travel with the team this week. We’ll see if his playing time is affected at all as I think in the past we’ve seen players get in the dog house after technicals and have to earn that time back.

Anyone get up at 7 AM to watch Northern Illinois face Valparaiso? Didn’t think so….

Upcoming Omaha Opponents:

You can read a preview of Tulane’s game here from NOLA. Played some good offense in the first game of the year, against Georgia Tech, but got outrebounded by 24. Ouch.  Another preview here from the Times-Piscayune
